Thomas M. Herman is a California Registered Professional Forester and has more than twenty five years of experience working for major California timberland owners.  He is intimately familiar with the laws and regulations that apply to forestry and logging, including both state and federal environmental laws.  Before practicing law, Mr. Herman was the Vice President and Resource Manager for a major timber company in California.  Thus, he now represents many timberland owners and operators as well as many logging and trucking companies. 
 
Based on Mr. Herman's background, he has represented a number of clients in criminal cases involving citations for alleged infractions of laws applicable to forestry and logging.
