The Law Offices of Thomas M. Herman can handle your land use and environmental compliance issues.  Mr. Herman served for eight years on the Humboldt County Planning Commission, and was the chairman of the commission for three of those years.  He was involved in deliberations over hundreds of land use permit applications and worked on updating the county's general plan.  He has extensive experience working with government planners regarding land use development permits.

Mr. Herman has a long history with environmental regulation in California.  He has handled matters involving fish and wildlife, endangered species, water and air quality, coastal zone permitting and wetlands mitigation.  Tom has experience working with administrative agencies both in rule-making and administrative adjudication.  He was intimately involved in the development of a multi species habitat conservation plan under the state and federal endangered species acts which led to the issuance of incidental take permits.
